I’m at a bit of a loss – for a rolltop on a backpack, am I better stitching the two materials, or should i attempt to bond them?
And, if I bond, any suggestions for how? Thin layer of epoxy resin? Cuben tape?

I just did this very thing to my Seek Outside Fortress. I used a 1/2″ double sided tape along the binding edge and taped over that with a 1″ cuben tape. It has held very well so far. I just used it on an 8 day trip and really put it through the paces.
