Looking for people to complete AT sections with. My Appalachian Trail mileages average 2.5 mph over the course of a day. 2 mph average uphill. Try to get on trail before 0900 and arrive in camp before sunset.
Been backpacking since high school and have solid skills.
I have done a couple solo hikes and while hiking alone is ok, rolling into camp not knowing who may be there is getting old. Early 40s, all my hiking friends are busy raising kids, wife is not into camping, so I am left to knock out sections solo.
