I am looking for a hiking partner/group to do small section hikes with, somewhere on the southern part of the AT. All my hiker buddies are married now and hike less unfortunately. I am open to new routes and somewhat flexible with the dates.
I am a 28 yr old male, live in South Florida.
Amin, you might have better luck posting on the Appalachian Trail subreddit. I’d volunteer but I’ve done pretty much all of the southern 800 miles. Plus, I’m twice your age and probably twice as slow! Good luck finding a partner though. FWIW, if you don’t, hit the trail anyway. The AT is relatively crowded AND social, so you probably wouldn’t have trouble hooking up with someone on trail.
I have done some solo hikes, theyre actually pretty good. Every now and then at least.
