I envy you winter hikers in the upper midwest and northeast. You’re getting blasted again.
Climatologists say you can expect this Arctic Vortex pattern to last for about another 20 years until the arctic area warms up to a certain point where this phenomenon eases off. By that time all the polar bears will all have been interbred with the grizzly population and merchant ships will be traversing the “Northwest Passage” year around. :o(
