In past years I have encountered lots of gear while backpacking in the southeast. This year, however, when I began seriously considering replacing some old things I haven’t encountered any of the stuff I am looking at online.
If anyone is on or near Columbia SC and is willing to meet up and demonstrate their Zpacks altaplex, Zpacks Arc blast or zip, tarp tent Aeon Li, or other similar items please let me know. I am willing to drive a few hours to meet you if required.
I would like to actually place my sleeping system in your shelter and crawl inside if you will allow that, please.
I am not sure I will replace my pack at all since mine works well, is comfortable and has served well for years with minimal repairs. My single person shelter must be replaced because the silnylon sags way too much after many years and many miles.
