Anyone hear from Marco at As Tucas lately?

I ordered a quilt in early September (88 days ago), sent inquiry emails on Nov 24 and Dec 1, and heard nothing.

Nothing on his Instagram (or Twitter, or…) since Oct 22.

Website currently quotes 46 days for a quilt order.

Anyone hear from him? Quite apart from wondering where my quilt is, I hope he’s not down with covid…

Marco is good last i spoke to him, he is likely out in the mountains, theyre still shipping gear I just got shipping notification of an order of mine.

Marcos communication is usually very fast and good. It is indeed likely that they’re out hiking. Still I’m surprised if things are taking longer without notifying you! Hopefully things are all good and they’re not far behind..

Alas, still no reply, even trying from another email address. I’ll have to ask a friend in Spain to call after Christmas.

You may have to accept that he may have been one of the Covid victims and may no longer be around to finish the order.
If he is around the EU is probably busy with other things at the moment

Just to close the loop for the community: still no response as of today, Jan 5, so I sent a final email and will be reversing the credit card charge.

He replied to my final email! Hooray!

Curious. Things have been incredibly tough and complicated for some people in the current pandemic. And there could be 1000 other things that complicated personal affairs.

I’d give him the benefit of the doubt as he’s given good service for a number of years (on a personal level, he gave me fantastic service). Though I remember there was some similar teething issues with slow delivery and responses when he first opened up.
