This piece looks intriguing for its breathability but I can’t find much info about it. Anyone have any experience with it?

There are several review out there if you Google.
As I recall, they say it is warmer than the old R1 and lighter weight… and breathes better… but that breathing is a two way street… in breezes that breathing makes is colder…
Also, to me, it looks like it will be more vulnerable to fuzzing out or pilling since it is not a tight weave…
will be interesting to see what other’s have to say…
Yeah, I saw a few reviews but not a lot out there. The breathing is part of the appeal for me. I’m looking for an active, wide temp range, keep it on a lot, cool/cold weather piece that I can throw a wind shirt over when needed & wear under my puffy when stopped/at camp. Seems most on this forum feel the regular R1 runs too warm for hiking in a lot of the time (plus a little heavy/bulky). I was about to get the Cap Thermal Weight hoody for this “wear a lot active piece” but wanted to fully vet the R1 Air. Just not a ton of info on it. Hope some people chime in. Thanks for your thoughts.
