I’m looking for a very lightweight, solo shoulder/4 season tent and the Moment looks like it checks a lot of boxes.
Anyone use one or has experience of someone else using one?

Yes, that’s a good looking tent for 3 plus season. I like the solid interior. I suppose the ribbing pole adds structure for snow load, etc, over the Notch Li…??? I really don’t know.
Eric Blumensaadt has commented on his winter use of the Moment DW in various threads on this forum.
There’s also this thread about the Moment in snow. Other threads as well if you search around.
I played with one maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Not the LI version. On a cold, slushy/wet day I had a pita time sliding the poles out of the tight sleeve. I also found the struts a bit finicky when they popped out. I wanted to love the Moment but something from that day flipped my mind and turned me off. I sold it. I’m sure people love it and maybe I did not give it a fair chance, but when a piece if gear gives me finicky times, at a time when I want simple.. I shy away from it.
