Has anyone convinced Philmont to allow a 13th crew member? I know the campsites are small. Just checking if this is a possibility or do we need to make an unpleasant decision. If so, then so be it.

Yes but if you don’t call them, the answer is no.  Give them a call, explain your situation and that you want a waiver. They will let you know the policy and that request like that needs to be approved… ask their name, number and if they can connect you so you knock it out in one call.

Thanks. We knew we couldn’t do 2 crews (not enough adults). I now have interest for at least 13 next year. We’ll see.
