Trying to decide b/w od green and brown for a mid, and can’t seem to find any good pics of the od green option.  Not on FB anymore or I would check the MLD page.

Anyone have a shot?

The floor of my bivy (or maybe its my inner net) is MLD green. I’ll try to take a minute and get a photo tomorrow.

Did you manage a pic Matthew? And what are your impressions of the bivvy?

@oreoceruos I have not gotten around to taking a photo. Sorry about that.

And what are your impressions of the bivvy?

I like my Superlight Bivy. I also like my son’s Borah bivy. The MLD makes a slightly nicer bathtub shape and has two zipper sliders rather than one on the Borah but I’m not sure it’s worth 2X the price (in size Large). MLD tests their fabrics and all that too.

They are both great bivies and I really like the simplicity of cowboy camping without worrying about waking up with a scorpion crawling over my face.

There are a few pictures on the MLD Facebook page. Someone posted this picture a few weeks ago which shows all the colors together in the same lighting:

I found a comment by Ron on the current colors: “The Brown is just like a milk chocolate brown and the OD Green is a military-ish Olive Drab Middle Green. OD Green now most popular color. OG Greenn more stealthy most places 9 months of the year and brown more so in the very later fall / winter when foliage is dead.”

Most pictures of pyramids in the OD Green make it look pretty dark, almost like a dark gray.
