Any other company make something like the Marmot Ether DriClime Hoody?

Well, against my normal grain, I ordered a new one that I found for ~50% off.

So, no need for an answer to my original question. Thanks.

But, whilst here, I will be selling my Marmot Driclime Windshirt, size L, black & blue.

I’ve been living in an Arc’teryx Proton FL Hoody all winter, it’s the closest thing I’ve found to a Driclime, but a little bit better for me, as it’s more breathable and has a nicer fit with a longer butt and better hood articulation.

The Driclime was pretty special…I also wore a Buffalo tech shirt which had a similar pertex-and-tricot construction, and I loved that shirt as well.

Thanks, Ryan. The Proton looks super! But that price. Whew! The DriClime was $200 less.

Can the hood be loosened enough to wear a ball cap and not have hood pulling the cap/visor down?

The Rab Vapour Rise series of jackets is similar to the Marmot DriClime.

+1 on Rab Vapor Rise. More breathable than DriClime, and the lining is less likely snag on skin abrasion…though for several years I have found the combination of the Patagonia Thermal Weight hoody + a unlined Windshirt (anything from Montbell Tachyon to BD Alpine Start) works as well and is more versatile.

Greg, no problem with a ballcap. There is a hood adjuster on the back of the hood that loosens everything up, and the stretch binding on the front of the hood isn’t ‘strong’ enough to cause a problem.
