Any Nevada spring recommendation?

Will be traveling I-80 through Nevada in first half of April. Could do up to a 5-7 day trip (loop preferred; out-n-back okay). Any suggestions for 40-60 miles, hopefully not more than 2-3 hours off of I-80, that would be clear of snow in early/mid April?
