Another packing list – for more than backpacking

My friend is participating in this crazy race in Canada. I thought folks here might like examining the packing list the participants need, esp the minimal first aid kit. The basic clothing kit looks like what most of us use – baselayer, thermal layer, waterproof layer. Plus whatever in other conditions.
