The Brits would find the rhyming slang of the shop name rather amusing too.

I remember that joke from The Red Green show. That’s where I learned everything I know about Canada.

Speaking of great parody signs/store names, my favorite is in the Simpsons episode where Ned opens the Leftorium (a store that only sells things made for left-handed people) in the Springfield mall. Â In one shot from inside the store, you can see out the door and across the courtyard where there is a store named “Something Wicker This Way Comes” selling, you guessed it, wicker furniture.
