Alternate setup: Quarter Dome SL 2 Tent?

Task: To setup Quarter Dome SL 2 Tent using fewer stakes.

Question: Has anyone tried setting up the Quarter Dome SL 2 (narrow end) using the TT Double Rainbow trekking pole/freestanding procedure?  (I have not).  If the method is viable that would be two less stakes, right?
