Gonna hike it this October. Anyone do it before? Thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks..
Love it – One of my favorites. I’ll PM you so I can send you some of my logs from doing it. I’ve done it four times, but always only the “Eastern” loop. We’ve structured it to spend a night camping in Black Moshannon State Park (flush toilets and hot showers) and that also drops it to about a 27-mile loop instead of the 42 that you’re likely to do.
One random thought – if you’re going over a weekend when there’s a Penn State home game you may run into traffic on Friday and/or Sunday. Just plan accordingly.
Cool. Thanks. We gonna  do entire 42 miles.. wednesday morning to Saturday morning.
