Kevin that is brilliant! Solutions so simple our complex brains can’t handle it. As kid we used them to light firecrackers – until we got in trouble for doing it in the wee hours! Ah, the simple life of 11-12 year olds in the late ’60s….

I use Esbit. I have spilled 2 alcohol stoves.

The one pain in the butt is the effort required to get them lit. A small cigar torch solved that issue.
