Here are a couple of photos of the pack Chris Zimmer just completed for me. It weighs 30 ounces with a 40L main compartment. Hasn't arrived yet but looks pretty impressive.

Man I love Zimmer packs…
So many possibilities…I plan to order another soon.
What are the dimesions of the main bag ? Material?
What did it cost as shown?
The dimensions are 7 x 11 x 23. The pack is all xpac, with the bottom and back made with a more robust version of the material. The base cost was rather inexpensive for a fully custom pack. With added options (frame, side zip pockets, hip pockets) the total came to $340, if I remember correctly.
Great packs. What are you using the top pockets for? (yeah, extra features add to the cost – was thinking of smaller, flatter pockets for mitt shells on a winter version of a Zimmerbuilt)
I'll use the outer zip pockets for aqua mira, headlamp, first aid, gloves, etc. Basically anything I need to access while on the trail. I like to try and minimize the need to go into the main compartment before camp.
