I got an early morning flight today from the southeast of Wales to the North west of wales. flying in to RAF Valley I decided that rather than hang around for a bus I would walk to my destination.
I had a rucsac, padded shoulder straps, waist belt, trail shoes (zero drop which I've worm in well), puffy, buff, gloves etc so I felt well kitted out. It was a bit over six miles, I didn't rush, it was mainly on Tarmac or a bit of grass. Saw some great January flowers and birds.
Now eight hours later My shoulders feel ok this evening but one of my hips is really hurting. It's possible I was slightly twisted walking as one strap kept coming off my shoulder no matter how i lengthened or shortened the strap. Actually it's the other way round, I think I'd mis loaded my bag so that a strap kept coming off and that's what made me twist a little.
Any other suggestions for the hip from hell. And I do this kind of distance once or twice a week and do at least two miles everyday – the joy of never having learnt to drive! And it's not usually like this. Could it really be just a little twist?
Thanks for any advice…
