I am trying to find the lightest pot a Bushbuddy fits in.

I think the Bushbuddy is 4.25 x 3.75 in (10.8 x 9.5 cm) while the Toaks 850 pot is 120mm x 98mm. So it could be really close in the width, only a 3mm difference and who knows where that is measured exactly. It might not fit. If it does fit it would be the lightest pot for this stove at 89 grams.

I think the Evernew 900 is second lightest coming in 99 grams.

The TOAKS 850 is 3.75" in internal diameter ,I believe..The Bushbuddy will be a better fit in the Snowpeak 900

The Evernew is 3.8″ x 4.75″/9.7 x 12 cm – even narrower than the Toaks by 0.1mm. I have heard this pot works with the Bushbuddy, I wonder if the Toaks does?

I contacted toaks and asked for and received a handless, thin walled, toaks 1100 mL pot. Weighs 3.2 oz on my scale. I don't think toaks ended up making a large batch of these pots so it might not be on their website but its worth shooting them an email. I am pretty happy with it and my bushbuddy clone (nomadic stove) fits great.

You need the 115mm pots. Bushbuddy fits perfectly in a Toaks 1000 or 1100.  I prefer the 1100 with fry pan lid for that extra headroom.  It fits almost exactly to the top of the 1000 so a regular lid won’t sit on the pot properly.  The 1100 gives enough clearance for a regular lid to fit as it should.  The fry pan lid gives about an inch and a quarter or so of head room.  perfect for a lighter/striker and a few cotton balls or something.

HA!! didn’t even look at the date. lol  I was searching toaks stuff and it popped up.  Bushbuddy and the toaks 1100 has been my go to for a couple years now.

Get the Trail Designs titanium Sidewinder (a Caldera Cone stye stove) with the “Inferno” woodturning insert. It is much lighter and packs FAR smaller than the Bushbuddy and can also be used with ESBIT or alcohol stoves.

Trail Designs makes these stoves to fit many different pots/mugs. For larger pots get the Tri-Ti version.

BushBuddy is user friendly. No tent stakes, no ground protector needed….. no fiddle factors-easy peasy. Can be used with alcohol and solid fuel.
