Has anyone found a good replacement insole for Altra Lone Peak 1.5s? I'd like just a little more cushioning in the forefoot, but not a big arch support or increased height at the heel. I looked at the website, but didn't see any insoles made by Altra, so I was looking outside the company. Thanks!

Diane,
I just got some Dr. Scholls gel pads and they work just fine. The Altra inserts were killing the ball of my feet. These made life better. This may not be what your're looking for as far as heel height or arch.A good buy IMO

I know on the PCT a lot of people liked altras with the "superfeet" combo. I really liked the stock insoles so I had no reason to upgrade.

I like the Altra's and Superfeet. They won't be zero drop shoes anymore, but the toe box will still be super wide and comfortable which is all I wanted.

I used to use the green superfeet, but they are really hard. Looking for more cushion, unless Superfeet have come out with a different line than I know about.

Tomn when you say dr sholes gel pads are you talking about just the gel insoles? Aren't they too narrow?

Diane,
The Dr. Scholl gels are a little narrow in the toe box but I have never noticed the gap while wearing them

The copper top Superfeet have more cushion.
