vacuum bag sealer

10.5 x 12 ziploc freezer bag weighs 0.41 oz

scale that to the 8 x 12 vac bag that weighed 0.4 oz

an 8 x 12 ziploc would weigh 0.31 oz – a little lighter

I just don't use the vacuum when sealing. The ability to make is just the right size is nice. I have the accessory port but I've never used it. I do need to order replacement seals (it's been many years).
