A rumor on the grapevine has it that Tom at NUNATAK is suffering from residuals of an auto accident that is making doing his job very difficult. I know it's none of my business, but is it even remotely conceivable that someone like Glen van Peski could negotiate an arrangement to take over his production, for a win-win situation? Well, probably there isn't anything anyone can do.

Tom seems like a really nice guy. He really worked with me to make sure my quilt was what I wanted when I ordered this spring.
I hate to hear he's having problems.

Bummer to hear that as well. Tom took excellent care of me and made sure I had a Skaha plus for my trip this summer even though mine wasn't ready yet. Shipped me his personal loaner and made sure it was here on time.
I ordered my AT late and dropped a tight deadline on him – Tom came through and was pleasant to deal with even after I hounded him a few times…AND the quilt was top quality…I can only hope that the inforamtion is false… Is your source reliable?
Trust me, I have documentary evidence to prove that my facts are 100% accurate. Unfortunately. He's had an operation on one shoulder, and faces an operation on the other.
Any news on Tom and Nunatak, did not see anything on their website.
Hope they are doing well.
I spoke with Tom regarding an Arc Alpinist Wednesday to see if he could have one completed by Thanksgiving and he did not see any problems with that. I forgot about this thread and feel bad now about not asking how he feels.
Maybe things are ok at Nunatak. I certainly hope so, but I've been unable to get responses to my emails to them. Maybe someday soon!
