I just wanted to let you guys know that I just released a larger version of our super popular glowire. The new version is a full 3mm(1/8″) and was specifically designed to work with the Lineloc 3’s. In testing the Lineloc 3’s were breaking before the cord would slip. To match the larger yarn size of the 3mm version, we are using reflective strands that are twice as big. So its twice as reflective as our standard 2mm(3/32″) version.
This cord has been in the works for a long time now and will set a new standard among people looking for a little bit larger diameter reflective cord. Nothing on the market even comes close to it as its 2-3 times more reflective than all competeing 3mm cords. The cord features our new reflective braid pattern which makes the cord even more reflective then other braid patterns. The jacket yarn is a constructed using a highly UV Resistant Polyester which is strong and has low stretch.. The core uses an Ultra High Tenacity Parallel Fiber Polyester Core. This results in a finished product that will melt together in the field, is strong, low stretch, and wont freeze.
It is hands down the best 3mm reflective cord made. And I am proud to say, like all of our cords, we manufacture this in-house. We offer it in six colors. But we are starting out with the original three. Lime, Orange, and Black. The other colors (Yellow, Blue, and Red) will be available in less than two weeks time. The size and weight are 3mm (1/8″), 3.75oz per 50′. We are still waiting on third party break testing numbers, but we are showing well above 400lbs on our tester.. The Introductory Price is $15.00 for 50′. The price will jump up to normal in a few weeks. Unlike our 2mm glowire cord, We are not going to sell this in 100′ hanks for atleast another month or two.
