Give me you best day trips near Durango.
I had planned a week on the CT this July. Turns out the whole family is going. It is now a sight seeing and daytime type trip.
So here is where we plan on going now:
Hiking CT around Junction Creek and a few miles north.
Mesa Verde
Will spend 1 full day on train
Are there any entry points on the CT north worth investigating.
Any other short 01-12 miles or so we should check out in the area.
For reference I have 4 kids ages 6-13.
