All the information is here: StairwayWalks.

In 2014 Jim and I took a fantastic 82-mile 4-day hike in San Francisco. It was a very circuitous route that took in 568 outdoor public stairways. We travelled with a few friends. The outing was a boatload of fun: scenery, food, exercise, diversity of neighborhoods, vibrant city life, and especially the companionship.

We have wanted to repeat this tour of San Francisco with others as a very fun way to spend time with old friends and make new acquaintances. So in 2015 we are breaking it into 8 walks of 8-12 miles each, and will hold each walk on a Saturday or Sunday.

Please join us and make 2015 the year of the Stairways of San Francisco! And invite family and friends too.

I’ll post detailed information about each leg of the walk on this the StairwayWalks. If you want notifications, view the blog in full screen mode (not in smartphone view) and use the “Follow by Email” field on the right side.

Just did the 3rd of the stairway walks, and it was a magical day. Amy's StairwayWalks link, above, gives great route maps for anyone who'd like to duplicate any part of any of the route segments.
