I just came across this today, and it got me thinking a bit. The video says it took the CDC 6 months to figure out what killed the patient. This is very rare, they say, but is concerning because unlike Lyme disease, it is a virus and cannot be treated with antibiotics. For some reason, i can't post the link. Just search bourbon tick virus.
