Looks like Uniqlo is really going to start giving some of the more expensive down jackets a run for their money.
Claims (from uniqlo website):
-DWR repellant fabric, and jacket designed to shed water from prone areas like the shoulders.
-Stuffed with down feathers treated with water repellent coating.
-Made with water repellant thread.
May have to give one a shot and do a little testing! Hopefully their Water Defender Parka version doesnt weigh much more than their normal line (My small parka is 8.6oz). Surprised that they are the same price.
