Just finished up my first stuff sack using the 5 Yards to SUL directions.

Looks great for a first sewing project! Very clean and professional.

One slight tip: if you want to save some weight you might consider shortening the drawstring just a hair. (Sure it's not much weight, but every little bit adds up.)

It's actually 2.4 oz/yd fabric anyway ($1 yard walmart siliconized ripstop) so it's not the lightest it could be but the fabric was the right price and is good to practice on.

Nice job Chris. I skip the cord lock for the stuff sacks I use.

Nice work! A stuff sack was one of the first (and last) things I ever sewed. But yours looks MUCH better than mine.
