Does any one know if the blockage issue with the 300T was solved by Fire Maple? Or do you still have to do some drilling? Is the blockage even a real issue to be concerned about?

Also, yes, it's Singles Day in China (11/11), so Alibaba is having a huge sale.

It's like eBay, it's a marketplace where you buy stuff from different sellers. On the whole though it's fairly reputable, it has decent buyer protections, but as with eBay your experience may vary seller to seller.

It is not an issue if you are using your canister upright. All the muck stays at the bottom of the canister.

Mind you, I don't see any value in the sintered filter anyhow, and I bought my batch (for my winter stoves) without them.

Cheers

Roger and others, how has the FMS 300T held up to long-term use? Roger do you now use it as your preferred canister stove when not using your inverted stove?

Reliable.

A lot of the time, yes.

To explain: I have several stoves in a box in the drawer: Snow Peak GST-100, Vargo Ti (similar, made by Kovea), FMS-116T and FMS-300T. The GST-100 is a bit of a Gold Standard for reliability (I've said that before), but it and the Vargo are much heavier than the FMS stoves. Any of the 4 will do, especially on day walks, but the lighter weight of the FMS stoves often wins on longer walks.

Cheers

FYI to anyone who ordered an FMS-300T from seller huie wang. AliExpress sent me this unsettling news today. I ordered mine Nov 11th and still haven't recieved it yet. On the upside, AliExpress promises a full refund if the seller is not legit.

Email contents:

You order is currently frozen, due to the sellers suspicious trading activities.
We have suspended this seller’s account because we have detected unsafe trading activities. We have therefore requested the seller to provide sufficient evidence, such as shipping documents and certificates which they must provide within 3 business days (not calendar days).

If the seller fails to provide any evidence within 3 business days, we will issue you with a full refund. In the event the seller does provide evidence, it could take about 15 business days for the case to be resolved.

We apologize for this inconvenience. At AliExpress, we are committed and always taking steps in improving our customers shopping experience and to the protection of both the buyer’s and seller’s interests.

Your understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Sincerely,
AliExpress Trade Security Department
