Has anyone tried to fit MLD's solo innernet into a Zpacks solo plus tarp?

Anyone with some experience with both have an idea if it would fit together?

Jennifer,

I suppose you meant the Zpacks' Hexamid Solo.
If so, I have done this.

Purchased a MLD CUBEN SOLO INNERNET from this thread:

http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=94034

precisely for his purpose, as I already had the Hexamid tarp with a MYOG added beak/door.
The Innernet fit, but it was not marriage created in heaven as its sloping sides hung a bit too loose to my taste (@ any height I set the tarp up between 48" and 44"). The loose noseeum draping a bit over my feet did not bother me much, but the one over my head did as it gave some hungry mosquitoes a chance of success whenever I got situated "just right".
After spending 5 nights with this setup, I decided to focus my attention to acquisition of the SMD SerenityNet, for which I have seen evidence that it is a better fit.

I recently bought one, and will keep it as I'm very happy with its fit to the Hex Solo tarp.
I am about to list the MLD Innernet for sale here on BPL as I have no further use for it.

Thanks IVO. I was actually thinking of the solo plus version of the tarp, not just the solo. I thought the net would fit in the solo plus version better….

But perhaps not.

@ Jennifer:

I suspect you are right about the better fit to the Plus tarp than the regular, as the Plus uses taller pole, which should be beneficial for the Innernet's tautness.
Sorry I can not offer any further insight.
