Just got back from Big 5. I've had a pair of Hi-Tec "carbon fiberglass" hiking poles for a few years now, 6 ounces each, and no complaints. They had a pair of the same that they were clearancing out for – yes – $15.00. For the pair. Sales clerk said they were not carrying them any more. What a steal!
