I haven't really heard of any one using them, but was wondering if a company makes them.

Mainly for the leggings. I want to get down pants, but I feel my crotch would get too hot as it already does when sleeping. I believe my legs would feel a lot warmer if I was able to cover them. Because long underwear is tight I think it restricts my blood flow to my legs making them uncomfortable. *Do note I am warmer with the long underwear on than with out.

Yes, Jacks R' Better is one manufacturer: http://www.jacksrbetter.com/shop/down-sleeves/

You might try calling them to see if they have an XL pair hanging around. That is what I did. I did use them as legging on a recent trip. They really helped, but the velcro elastic strap was a little uncomfortable (minor), I tried tucking it into my underwear to keep them up. Worked OK, but the overall system could use improvement. Also, from mid-calf down I was not covered by the sleeves when they were pulled up- I am 5' 10".

You might try some microfleece pajama-bottoms or athletic pants — they're loose-fitting, lightweight, and won't restrict your bloodflow. Waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than down stuff, too, BTW.

I put my feet in the arms of my puffy jacket in my bag. The jacket fills the air in the bottom of the bag and I have found it way warmer at no weight penalty except now I need a pillow. Then my jacket is warm in the morning also

Thanks for the replies. Still surprised there aren't dedicated down leggings. Wrapping my legs with my down jacket kind of works, but still leaves cold spots. I'm just used to wrapping up my legs in a blanket no matter what the temperature. One of those things I've held on to from my child hood. Hopfully I'll get out more this winter to test some ideas. I'll probably still invest in down pants before I do leggings. I'm going to try my snow pants, but at 20oz they are pretty heavy and might not be very comfortable while sleeping.

>>Montbell REVERSIBLE DOWN LEG WARMERS , they are not full length they go just to the knee.

Hmmm…
Buy 2 pair, wear one on calves, one on the thighs.
$83 and 6oz.
Just sayin'
