I bought a bunch of the 30d calendered coyote fabric from magna fabrics to make hammocks out of. I recently got a great deal on 2 lbs of 750 fill power down and wanted to try using it for a couple of quilts. From my experience the calendered 1.1 nylon is usually down proof, but when I emailed magna fabrics about if it was down proof the responded "Sorry this fabric is not down proof. We do have other fabrics that are. best regards" I couldn't find any fabrics on their website that claimed to be down proof.
I'm hoping I can use it for down projects.
