cuben slippery?

It's less slippery but also less durable. Silnylon can be annoying slippery, while I've never noticed this with cuben.

New cuben fiber does have a slick feel to it, but the friction is higher then silnylon. After some wear that slick feeling starts to go away.

In my opinion, Cuben Fiber isn't anywhere close to be as slippery as silnylon. As an example, when trying to force a silnylon stuff stack into a densely packed backpack, it slides easily in. A cuben fiber stuff sack needs a little assistance. For snow on a tarp, snow will slide off with less build up first then with cuben fiber. However, silnylon sags(stretches) when wet while cuben fiber doesn't.

I wouldnt say its slippery at all. Its smooth. There is a difference. Sil is slippery as hell, and its not smooth.

If you want to reduce the slippage to virtually zero, put some dabs or stripes of Seam Grip (NOT Sil Net) on the bottom of your sleeping pad in the torso area.

I have tried dots and stripes and coating an entire floor with diluted silicone. The more I use the less slippery a silnylon floor is. However, it also attracts debris. I think a cuben floor would help overcome my annoyance with sil. Don't want to find out differently after spending $$$.

Yes, I was assuming this was for use with a Cuben floor.

Seam Grip (also a McNett product) will stick very well to the sleep pad, but Sil Net won't. BTW, Seam Grip also sticks extremely well to Cuben, but Sil Net does not, despite what you might read elsewhere.

Much better weight-wise to put it on the sleep pad rather than the tent floor.

Sorry, wrong word. What I have used is diluted or undiluted permatex silicone. I sleep poorly so have yet to settle on one pad. I think I've settled on minimal sleep on a planted pad. Rotating the fleet of course.

Funny thing. ..best sleep I've had in the woods was on a z lite and thick duff. Wish I could find those conditions more often.
