It really IS a good, relatively easy MYOG project.

I MYOG’d one that attaches to my hipbelt; it’s made from light X-Pac (and fits bottles 1L or less).  The X-Pac is fairly slippery inside, which helps the bottle go in/out.  It’s attached to my hipbelt via a piece of 1″ webbing that velcros on/off.  The added benefit of this is that it jiggles slightly while I walk, which keeps my cold coffee well-mixed!

It jiggles yeah?  Looks like it’d be jiggling right where it don’t need to be.
