Today I whipped up a little 19 gram chess set from a scrap of Tyvek, a dollar-store magnet set (magnets removed), and about 15 minutes of time. Now I can sit on my sleeping pad and get beat at the same time. Life is good once again.

I've been meaning to make a chess set out of some thin plastic on the laser cutter at school but that sounds way easier and potentially lighter.Anthony
