Sadly, today I received confirmation from a helpful MSR employee that the upcoming MSR FlyLite is indeed only 82" in length (width is 55" front, 42" rear). Since I'm 75" in length, and sleep on my stomach with about 8" of size 13 feet sticking straight back, this is not going to work.

As you can imagine, I am a keen student of tent lengths (and how the angles of front and rear walls work to reduce "effective length"). I know most tent manufacturers don't design for my point on the curve, but 82" seems pretty short. Most tents I see are in the 84-86" range, with some up to 90", though the wall angles don't always make all that space usable.

If you like that shape and a single wall trekking pole supported shelter, the tarptent squall has an 84" floor with 20" height at the back (in the center ) so you should fit there.
62" at the front, 42 at the rear. 34oz.

The TT Notch may just work for you, the Double Moment will but it is a double wall so about 52 oz.(mind you you can also use it as a tarp only for less weight…)

man, that is short. I wonder if the 1lb9oz weight includes stakes/lines/mini pole. Either way, it would never fit me.
