It's kind of last minute but thought I would through this out there in case anybody is interested in joining. I am planning to do the Pemi Loop in New Hampshire, counterclockwise starting Saturday evening. Planning on bagging Bond, Garfield, Lafayatte, Lincoln, Little Haystack, Liberty and Flume. Here is my itinerary.

Saturday
* Flying in to Burlington, VT from Jax, FL 1 pm
* Drive to Lincoln area, dinner in town
* 2.8 Miles – Head start with a partial night hike from Hancock Campground to camp at Franconia Brook East campsite ~6-9 pm

Sunday
* 14.4 Miles – Hit Bondcliff Trail by 6:30 am. Averaging 2 mph should make it to Garfield Ridge Campsite by no later than 5 pm with 2 hour factored in for breaks along the way.

Monday
* 14.2 Miles – Expect a long (12 hour) and painful day. Hit Garfield Ridge trail by 6:30. Averaging 1.5 mph (I am slow going uphill) should make it to Garfield Ridge Campsite by no later than 6:30 pm with 2 hour factored in for breaks along the way.

I am in Florida and have never been to this area. Somewhat of a novice, lightweight hiker but have done a number of 10-26 mile (single day) cold and warm weather hikes in north Georgia mountains (Springer, Slaughter, Blood) and some peaks in the Smoky Mtns.

Let me know if you're interested. Also, let me know if I am crazy!

hi-

work prevents that time frame, as it has pretty much the last month unfortunately… I'd loved to have been able to catch the fall color show. Still I hope to get up end of October / early November & look forward to a post trip report-

happy trails

I wish I could go, the Pemi is one of my favorite parts of the Whites (as you can tell.. 4-5 trips so far). Looking along both of those ridges never gets old.

definitely get pics and report back.
