I was just about to take a deep breath and wash one of my down bags. I grabbed the old bottle of Nikwax down wash and was reading the directions when I noticed printed at the bottom, "BBE: 09/13.
So I guess this stuff is about a year past it's best before date? It still looks, smells and feels fine. I guess my question is, can this do anything to hurt my sleeping bag? Or is it possibly just not quite as potent now as it would have been a year ago?
There's nowhere really close by that I can go pick up another bottle, so it would be nice if I could use it but only if there's no chance of it hurting my down.
