I will add to what Tony has written about the hose – that the reliability of the connections is utterly crucial, and has taken quite a bit of experimental machining to get right.
There is nothing quite like a hose breaking loose from the stove and spraying fuel around – which always catches alight of course. A rather mobile flame thrower…

How are you attaching the PowerMax fuel to that? I have a bunch of the canisters and really prefer them and would love to figure out a way to attach a stove like Stuart's to them for remote use. I have the Brunton stand and the Gnat and am ready to hack – that connector would be the ideal solution!
