Hi guys,
I just received a new patagonia houdini and I noticed that the way the hem pull cord is stitched to the body creates a pull on the hem and doesn't allow the jacket to sit flat. Is this how it is suppose to look?

Nope, they sewed that one too short, send it back if you don't like it. I have two and both are flat and the loop is the appropriate length sewn into the side seam.

It is hard to see what is happening here but I once something similar happen on a different windshell. It turned out that the toggle had simply gotten flipped around for some reason or another. I'd check to see that first before bothering to send it in.
Just checked the toggle. Looks like they just were too short when they sewed it in. Going to exchange tomorrow. Thanks guys.
