I'm preparing to purchase one of these soon and am wondering if any of the members have any thoughts about this, as I can't find many reviews on the tent. This tent kind of pushed it's way into my wishlist after seeing it available in the gear swap section for a good price. My initial wishlist consisted of the Tarptent Moment and the SMD Skyscape Trekker. The only downside I see in my decision is that the Flashlight is slightly heavier, but are there any other issues I should know about?
I purchased the Flashlight 2 Standard earlier this year and have to say it's a great tent. I have no complaints so far. I wrote up a review after I purchased it and posted it here a while ago. I know it's not exactly like the FL 1 UL but it's similar enough that my experience should give you some idea of how it should perform. I don't know how to link within the forum but if you search Flashlight 2 it will pop right up.

Thanks for the info! I just read it and it was quite informative. Now my only other worry is that my sleep system will fit well in the 1 Ul. I'm currently rocking the Nemo StratoLoft with its quite wide Nemo pad (Probably the most comfortable thing I've ever laid in). Fingers crossed!
Boy your bed looks terribly uncomfortable. If it doesn't fit you should definitely just discard it in a box with proper postage and my address affixed.
In all seriousness, I hope the tent works out great for ya. I love mine, I hope you have the same experience.
