Hey all!
Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a 3-4 day backpacking trip in mid October around Arizona? We were thinking of hiking down to Havasupi, but were too last minute to get a reservation. I also thought about the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico, but I think its a little late in the season for there. If we could, we would like a place that is dog friendly. Any tips or ideas would be awesome!

I could come up with several recommendations for 3-4 day, no permit required trips in AZ, but none that would legally allow you to take your dog…
Ya….I have found lots of cool places, but most dont allow dogs. A few places I was thinking was up to Rainbow Bridge or maybe down into the Blue Range Primative Area….
SE Utah canyons can be nice in October… mostly BLM land so I don't think they care about dogs.
