I ordered a Westcomb Crest Hoody from 6pm.com because some people said it was a really good win jacket and I wanted to check it out. I must say I really like the fabric. It seems durable and very breathable which my last few wind jackets have not. I was wondering if there were other jackets out there made of a similar or the same material because while the XXL fits very well the hood seems a bit small and the hem seems very loose and open. I could probably live with the hood but is there a better way to bring the hem in?

Rab has the Alpine Jacket with a really generous hood that cinches down really well.
I love the greater breathability of the Equilibrium fabric too.

Yeah, but it seems a lot more durable than a Houdini or any other windshirt I have seen or tried in the last 10 years and breathes MUCH more.

yeah it does a bit but it depends on the pack strap fabric and probably only aesthetic. I have a 4 year old Montane jacket made of equilibrium, which is still sound and not bad looking. It's pretty durable and much more breathable than tight weave pertex. Much better under a shell.
