Lots of Rab items just showed up on STP including many down jackets and polartec alpha pieces. Many of the items are eligible for today's extra 40% coupon if you see the dealflyer e-mail pop up in your inbox.

For some reason I am never getting the deals flyer even though I have signed up a few times. Too bad they don't have the Neutrino Plus in XXL because I really want that jacket but am not going to pay $450 for it.

just got the new Rab Strata hoody for around $100. I didn't have a 40% off coupon. just 35%.

I really like my Rab pieces that i have. One of the best places for their stuff is Wilderness Exchange. I believe they have STP beat as far as price goes on most items.

For 40% off and free shipping over $100: NGY28998

Ends midnight.

If you're under the $100 total, you can just add something really light but enough $$ to take you over for free shipping, then return it USPS for a couple bucks. Beats paying $8-11+ shipping.

Also, check to see if they have the same item in the same color/size on CampSaver.com, they'll beat even the coupon price by 5%, and no sales tax (unless you're in their home state) and free shipping minimum is much lower.

Thanks for posting this! Just got a Neutrino Plus for $171.68 including sales tax(in ID).

Sounds like lots of folk got a Neutrino Plus. I had got one from another retailer this week for a good bit more, I called up for a
Price match and they honoured it at the 35% on the site.

I had this typed earlier and forgot to hit post message. well, here it is a day later.

I also bought the Strata hoody! Except… I was able to get Campsaver.com to pricematch +5% discount the 40% coupon price that STP had! Plus, no tax and free shipping from Campsaver so I ended up paying only $83.

They only pricematch IFF same item/color/size, Campsaver only had 1 small left, so I got that, hopefully it'll fit (since its a trim fit… and my Xenon is a Medium trim fit butthat has plenty of room for layering so I am hopefuly).

I had the Strata in my cart and then took it out. Ended up getting a Rab Generator on a different stp coupon – 35% off but I had to pay shipping. Heading to the Canadian Rockies next month and I'm worried about using my down in freezing rain.

Rick,

I got the Strata for the exact conditions you mention, hiking in below 0F. Having hiked for 25 years in Ireland and the UK the Strata would definitely be overkill for most conditions.

I just got one because I wanted to. Like Rick said, will be too warm unless it is super cold while I'm active (wool + windshirt or wool+ gridfleece + windshirt is plenty for me down to 20F while snowshoeing), and too cold for stationary.

I'll most likely use this around town.

ME stuff is very nice.

Will the Nuclei be warm enough for belay use? I have one and would not find it warm enough for UK winter static use.

Ah, the Cairngorms, now I am jealous.

I have an Xl Nuclei myself, that and my mirage would do me for UK winters.

I picked up a Microlight down hoody last night – struggled over sizing as I have a RAB Latok in large that fits, albeit it is not boxy – but this piece is reputed to be even more athletic so I got an XL…

Anyway – currently

35% off and $20 edeals card on $125 or more EB091614A through 9/18/2014

30% off and free shipping over $75 or more KHW54013 through 9/18/2014

I had another item I wanted so the $20 edeals card ended up being the better deal for me but it's worth comparing both to get the best deal.

DEX74934 is also a code for 30% off and free shipping over $75.

Phillip – As for size, I'm on the other end of the spectrum, so don't know if it'll also apply for you, but some of their Trim/Slim/Athletic fit stuff isn't too tight.
I have their Xenon Primaloft One hoody in a medium, and it's listed as slim fit, but I've got plenty of room there (without being baggy), so I probably could have comfortably went down to my usual small, I also have their Sawtooth jacket in a small as well.

You can always exchange it, they make it really easy and you get instant credit + free return shipping and free shipping for the new item.
