    90% of my fishing is some form of Euro nymphing, with beadheads.

    This is typical of what George Daniels (coach of the Junior fly fishing team) has in his box

    Between the two you can vacuum the fish out of a stream… with beadheads, tenkara style.

    I'm not saying beadheads are for everyone, but I can say with confidence that in mountain streams they are Extremely effective.

    Definitely intriguing… but you know what they say… "Just say no to [insert bead head nymph here,] kids"

    JK, I should probably check this stuff out… so much reading and learning to catch up on right now.

    Something I forgot about on the learning curve –

    Casting beadheads into your rod tip is not a good thing.

    I have broken a couple of tips from to many impacts. My casting has improved and I don't worry about it now, but as a beginner it is definitely a consideration.
