So when I research I go overboard. I just nabbed a Houdini on 6pm.com but I thought I'd share what I found over the weekend. Most of these are limited in quantity so you'd do well to move fast.

Patagonia.com: both for $69 – Polar Blue in L is listed and Larimar Blue in L is NOT listed (have to call Patagonia and ask specifically)
6pm.com: Feather Grey in L is $65 (sweet!)
USOutdoor.com: All $68.95, Black in SM, L and XL, Feather Grey in SM, Glass Blue in XL
Skirack.com: Both $59, Feather Grey and Glass Blue in SM
Basegear.com: $59.40 for Electric Orange (yowza!) in L
Masseys Outfitters: $79 for Glass Blue and Polar Blue in XL

Lastly, one can always call the Patagonia Outlet in Dillon MT. They're recovering from the deluge of orders over Labor Day weekend's 40% off sale but never hurts to see if they have a Houdini laying around if you need something specific.

Most of the time these days Houdinis will drop to $75, there's almost always one around online for that. I consider anything below $70 to be a good deal. Lowest I've ever seen new in the last few years was $59 but those are hard to come by unless it's a terrible color/size.

Thanks for the research Greg. I’m a big fan of their better sweater

I looked it up using my bc25 gear price checker and it looks like best deals are on the women’s versions of houdini . backcountry’s price is $59.40

Haha, Brett I know your pain. It took me trying on Large Houdinis numerous times to convince myself it was the right size (over Medium), but by then it was sold out in various places and I had to wait months for the right deal all over again.
