On cool summer nights at altitude I've begun using a T shirt for headgear when it's still too warm to pull the hood of my mummy over my head.
BUT… unlike Beavis I don't put my arms in the sleeves, I just put my face through the neck hole & tuck the body of the T shirt into the neck of the shirt I'm wearing. Works great and stays on all night.
