How warm is the Cocoon Pro 60 parka? I know that warmth is relative to the individual, food intake, etc., but can someone ballpark when the parka should be used?

When we were cold… :-)
Cocoon and thermal top down to freezing, certainly.
Haha I guess i should have said 'in what conditions.' Are both the hoody and the parka similar in warmth?
well its a little paradox, because the pro has more venting options, but it also is using a less breathable fabric.
I purchased to replace a Wild Things EP jacket in XL that I sold after I lost some weight. In Colorado and New Mexico I was comfortable in Patagonia silkweight undies and R2 fleece with the EP jacket sitting on a windy ridge at about 0 degrees. I am hoping the PRO 60 will perform similarly.
I need to purchase the PRO 60 pants next. My layering for the legs was again Patagonia silkweight bottoms, BD Alpine pants and the EP pants.
